Southern Illinois Equestrian School League
The Southern Illinois Equestrian School League is a publicly supported non-profit corporation operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, to foster regional and national amateur equestrian sports competition. The primary goals and objectives of the League are to encourage a knowledge of horsemanship, stable management, equine anatomy and physiology and to promote teamwork in a fair and friendly competition with the young riders from K thru 12 th grade. The League encourages and supports the efforts of those students and their parents at public and private schools who have made a commitment to the sport. The League promotes the sport as an ”Interscholastic Team Activity.
SIESL will be hosting 3 competitions each year for each youth members and an annual awards banquet.
SIESL members are NOT required to own their own horse.

The USEF Equestrian Athlete Lettering Program is open to equestrian athletes in all breeds or disciplines who are currently members of USEF or become USEF members. Students participating in the program need to record 100 hours of riding or training and three competitions of any level or type to complete the requirements for that year. The program runs from June 1-May 31 of each year and will honor those who document their training and competition involvement by awarding emblems and pins.

A Club Session...
Includes a group lesson covering a horse care topic, learning how to tackup and handle thie horse with safety as the number one priority. Riding skills, along with games on horseback, all with individualized attention
Memberships start as low as $99 a month
Add a second child for $59
With The Club’s, choose any session(s) available weekly making it easy for students to make up classes or get ahead as needed to accommodate family activities, homework load, sickness, etc.
Equestrian Club Membership is available for students from age 9 to 15 years old.
No special equipment is required. Helmets and boots are available to borrow for free
